2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: your name, email address, phone number, country and, where we ask for it, your date of birth and copies of your identity documents.
  • Account data: your account type, reporting currency, balances and the appearance settings you choose.
  • Trading data: the orders you place, your positions, the margin they use and your profit and loss.
  • Funding data: your deposit and withdrawal requests, the payment method used for each, and your fund history.
  • Communications: the emails you send to our support team.
  • Technical data: IP address, sign-in times, device and browser information, and analytics about how you use the site, collected through cookies.

3. Why we process your data

  • To open and run your account, confirm your email address, and check your identity when a check is needed.
  • To let you place and close trades, keep track of your margin, and show your profit and loss.
  • To review deposits and withdrawals before any money moves.
  • To meet our legal duties, including anti-money-laundering, sanctions and tax-reporting obligations.
  • To answer your questions and deal with complaints.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised access to accounts.
  • To send you service messages and, where you have agreed, news about our own products.

5. Who we share it with

  • Payment providers and the banking or crypto networks used to move money in and out.
  • Cloud hosting, email and analytics providers that act for us under contract.

  • Professional advisers, auditors and insurers, under duties of confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

6. Retention

We keep identity, trade and funding records for as long as the law requires after your relationship with us ends. We keep them longer where a dispute, an investigation or a specific legal duty requires it. Marketing preferences and website analytics are kept for shorter periods. When a retention period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

7. Your rights

Subject to the law, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent you have given. You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live (Information Commissioner's Office).

To use any of these rights, write to privacy@quantivofx.com. We will reply within one month. Where we cannot do what you ask, such as where we must keep trading records by law, we will explain why.

8. International transfers

Some of the providers we use are based outside the country where you live, so your data may be processed elsewhere. Where that happens, we put safeguards in place before the data is transferred, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses agreed with the provider. The safeguard we use depends on the provider and the data involved.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the platform and keep you signed in, and, only with your consent, analytics and preference cookies to understand how the site is used and to remember your choices. You can change your cookie choices at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, or through your browser settings. The Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use.
