Market structure
Contract structure
A contract for difference is an agreement on the change in the price of an asset, settled in cash. You don’t own the asset and it isn’t delivered, and that is where the cost and the risk come from.
Accounts and funding
Demo and live accounts
A demo account starts with simulated funds that cannot be funded or withdrawn. A live account opens at a zero balance and is funded at your discretion.
Practice
Publication practice
We publish no signals and no price predictions. Material describes how markets and the terminal work, and it says so when a question has no settled answer.
Market structure
Price formation
Interest rate decisions, inflation and employment data, and the balance between buyers and sellers all set the quoted price, and a scheduled release can move it inside a single session.
Market structure
Price gaps
A market reopening after a weekend, or unscheduled news, can produce a price some distance from the previous quote. A stop loss cannot protect against that gap.
Platform operation
Order ticket operation
You set the direction, the margin commitment, the leverage level and any stop loss or take profit before you submit, and the ticket shows the margin requirement first.
Platform operation
Terminal layout
The dashboard, the instrument list with search and category filters, the price chart, the order ticket, open positions and orders, and the risk summary. The terminal runs in a browser, with nothing to install.
Accounts and funding
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals are arranged in the wallet, and the fund history on the account lists each one.
Risk
Leverage and position effect
Leverage sets the position size a margin commitment supports, and it works on a price move in both directions. Each account type carries its own leverage limit.
Risk
Position sizing
Two positions on the same view produce different outcomes according to size. Size follows from the loss the account can absorb, not from the entry price.
Risk
Risk summary metrics
Equity, margin used, realised and unrealised profit and loss, and win rate measure different properties of the account, and the risk summary reports them together.
Practice
Trade records
Account history records every trade you execute, and every deposit and withdrawal. A journal held alongside it carries your reasoning, your plan and the conditions at entry.
