Demo accounts are open

Five markets, one margin account.

Trade contracts for difference on foreign exchange, commodities, crypto, indices and shares. The ticket shows the margin the position will use, the leverage limit that applies to it and any stop you've set. You see all of it before you submit.

The demo starts with simulated funds. It's the real software running on fake money, and you can't withdraw it. Leverage multiplies losses the same way it multiplies gains.

Five asset classesOne instrument list. One wallet.
Nothing to installA browser tab is the whole terminal.
Every deposit reviewedBefore the money moves.
Two account typesStandard and Raw, priced differently.

Screenshots and prices on this page illustrate the interface. They are not a live feed. The prices you trade are the ones in the platform.

The terminal

One screen, from order ticket to closed position.

Search an instrument, read the chart, size the trade and manage what's open, all without leaving the page. The account record sits beside it: balances, margin in use, funding history and settings.

All of it runs in the browser. There's no desktop program to download and no update to install. A larger account doesn't get a better terminal than a small one.

You see the margin before you commit

The order ticket shows the buy and sell price, the margin the position will use, the leverage limit for that instrument and account type, and any stop loss or take profit you've set. Nothing leaves your screen until you press the button.

Evaluate it before you fund it

A demo account carries simulated funds and no financial exposure, and it runs on the same prices, the same instrument list and the same order ticket as a funded account. No capability is held back for a funded account.

Funding is reviewed, not auto-credited

Every deposit and every withdrawal is approved by a person before the money moves. If a request can't be supported, we decline it before approval rather than after.

Ten interface languages

English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Simplified Chinese, in the terminal and across this site.

Your record, on your account

Your deposits, withdrawals and closed trades stay in the account history. Your name, phone number, country, reporting currency and appearance are yours to change.

What it costs

How we get paid, and what you are not charged for.

We're paid out of the cost of the trades you place. There's no subscription, no monthly platform fee, and nothing to pay for an account you leave alone.

  • Standard. The cost sits inside the price you're quoted, so there's no commission line to reconcile afterwards.
  • Raw. A tighter quoted price and a separate commission on each trade. On larger positions or higher turnover, the commission is usually the smaller of the two costs.
  • We don't charge for deposits or withdrawals. What your bank, card issuer or wallet provider charges you is outside our control.
  • The leverage limit and funding threshold for your account sit on the account record. We publish neither here, because a number on a page can't be enforced from that page.

Your bill, line by line

  • Cost of a trade
    Once, on the ticket.
  • Platform fee
    None.
  • Inactivity
    None.
  • Deposits and withdrawals
    Nothing from us.
  • Live figures

A higher leverage limit buys you a bigger position. It doesn't buy you a better account, and it raises what an adverse move costs you.

Markets

What you can trade, and what moves it.

Five asset classes on one margin account. Go long or short on the same terms, because a contract for difference is an agreement about a price, not a delivery of the thing itself.

Asset classWhat is availableWhat tends to move it
Foreign exchangeCurrency pairs, majors through to crossesInterest rate differentials, inflation, central bank policy, labour data
CommoditiesPrecious and industrial metals, energySupply and demand, inventories, the dollar, geopolitical risk
CryptoMajor digital assets, traded continuouslyExchange flows, regulation, positioning
IndicesBroad baskets tracking national and regional marketsConstituent earnings, interest rates, macroeconomic data
SharesIndividual issuers, as a contract for differenceResults and guidance, sector news, analyst revisions

Two account types

Standard or Raw. It depends on how often you trade.

Both trade the same instruments on the same terminal and go through the same funding review. They differ on three points: how the cost is expressed, the leverage limit that applies, and the amount you need to open.

Cost in the price

Standard

The cost sits inside the price. Nothing to reconcile afterwards, and no commission line in your history.

Standardcost in the price
  • No commission on any trade
  • Every instrument on the platform
  • The lower opening threshold of the two
  • Its own leverage limit, on the account record
  • Opened by default if you do not choose
Open a Standard account

You can hold both at once. Nothing stops you running a Standard account for longer positions and a Raw account for the rest.

In writing

What we do, and what we do not.

Most of what makes a broker trustworthy is what it won't do. Our list is here, beside the other one.

We do

  • Open demo accounts without a deposit or identity documents. Keep one for as long as you want, alongside a live account or instead of one.
  • Review every funding request before the money moves. If a request can't be supported, we decline it before approval, not after.
  • Charge every account of a given type the same. No negotiated schedule, no side arrangement, no better price for a bigger name.
  • Publish our pricing structure and our account types. The cost model is stated in full rather than summarised into a headline figure.

We do not

  • Give investment advice or publish trade recommendations. We do not manage accounts and we do not tell clients what to buy. Every decision rests with the account holder.
  • We do not offer copy trading, signal rooms or managed accounts. None of these is planned, and no side product provides them.
  • Take the other side of your trade. Orders are submitted to the platform. No desk here holds a position against a client.
  • Require an application, a download or a deposit to see the platform. A demo account opens the whole terminal before any money is involved.

Same account, any screen

A laptop, a phone, the same positions.

Your account, your positions and your funding history live against the account, not against a device. Sign in on a phone and the trade you opened on the laptop is there, marked to market.

  • Instrument list with search and category filters
  • Chart, order ticket and open positions on one surface
  • Margin and equity updated as the market moves
  • Dark and light presentation, remembered per device
  • Deposits, withdrawals and history from either

Available on a demo account

The same terminal, before any money is involved.

A demo account carries simulated funds and no financial exposure. It isn't a limited preview: you get the instrument list, the charting, the order ticket and the account record that a funded account uses.

  • Foreign exchange, commodities, crypto, indices and shares
  • Stop loss and take profit on any order, and the platform never imposes them for you
  • Equity, margin in use and profit and loss in a single view
  • No capability reserved to a funded account

Straight answers

Questions the platform answers in full.

The questions you should be able to answer before you open an account, set out at length rather than summarised.

Is QuantivoFx regulated?
Not at the date of this page. Quantivo Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 55624915, and that registration is a fact about a company, not a permission to carry on regulated business. We hold no financial services authorisation and we claim none. If that changes, the new position will be published on this page, on the About page and in the legal documents on the same day. Until then, treat everything you read here as the description of a platform offered by an unregulated firm, and weigh that in your decision.
Do I need to deposit anything to look at the platform?
No. A demo account opens without a deposit and without identity documents, and it runs the same instrument list, prices and order ticket as a live account. The balance is simulated, it can't be funded, and it can't be withdrawn.
How is the cost of a trade worked out?
It depends which account you're on. On Standard the cost sits inside the quoted price and we charge no commission. On Raw the quoted price is tighter and we charge a commission on each trade. Either way the figures are on the ticket before you submit. Neither account carries a subscription or an inactivity charge.
Can I lose more than I put into a trade?
Yes, and you should assume you can. Leverage multiplies the size of the position, not the size of your deposit, so a move against you can take the whole margin behind the trade. A stop loss is an instruction rather than a guarantee: in a fast market, price can gap past your level and fill at the next one available. The Risk Disclosure sets out the position in full.
Does the platform give advice?
No. QuantivoFx doesn't provide investment advice, doesn't publish trade recommendations and doesn't manage accounts. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation, and every decision about a position is the account holder's to make.

Before you trade

Leverage is the risk, and it takes two minutes to understand.

A contract for difference is a leveraged product. That's the point of it, and it's also the danger. Most retail investors lose money trading CFDs, and the reason is usually leverage rather than the direction of the market.

Leverage cuts both ways

It multiplies the position, not the deposit. A move against you of a few per cent can take the whole margin behind the trade.

Markets gap

A stop loss is an instruction, never a guarantee. Over a weekend or on a news release, price can jump past your level and fill at the next one available.

Know the cost of holding

A position held overnight can carry a funding charge. Read the ticket, and read the Risk Disclosure before your first live trade.
